Charter of Services - Restaurant and Accommodations

Reservations - For reservations you can call or request information by phone. In all cases we ask for confirmation by email ( In order to guarantee both parties in the best possible way, please always check your e-mail box.
Any specific needs for accommodation, breakfast and restaurant must be indicated at the time of booking. (E.g. intolerances, allergies, special needs, etc.). Adjustments at the last minute or at the time of service will not always be possible.

Check-in - From 15:00 to 19:00. In case of arrivals at a different time from those indicated, please notify us in advance, penalties may be applied for night arrivals after 19:00, particularly if not agreed. An extra between € 10 and € 30 for late arrivals may be applied at the management's discretion. Upon presentation at the venue, we require a valid document for each guest.

Check-out - We ask you to check-out by 11:00.

In case you need to stay longer, please let us know in advance. If needed, you can leave your luggage in a dedicated room.

Payment by debit card, credit card, cash and PayPal are accepted.

Cancellation policy (subject to regional or government regulations) - Please always notify us in advance of your need to cancel your reservation. In the event of a confirmation deposit paid, this will be retained and made valid for a future stay (within the following 180 days). For cancellations within 7 days prior to arrival, a penalty equal to 30% of the daily allowance will be charged.

Processing of personal data - Personal data and any other element learned by our Company during the course of the assignment will be subject to a bond of secrecy and will be treated in compliance with the confidentiality and rights of the person through systematic application on our part. of specific protection and guarantee measures prepared for both paper and electronic processing of data and measured according to the specificity of the data itself (simple personal data or sensitive or judicial data). Pursuant to and for the purposes of Legislative Decree 196/03 we inform the Customer that his personal data will be processed only for the purposes determined by the contractual relationship for these purposes (including accounting and administrative purposes).

For the respect of all:

  • we invite you to adopt a behavior that respects the peace and relaxation of the other guests;
  • the guest is required to respect the rooms, equipment and furnishings found in the villas and restaurant of IL BORGO IN COLOGNOLE;
  • smoking is prohibited inside the rooms;
  • it is forbidden to use extra heating appliances and naked flames in the rooms.
  • we also ask to be respectful of the environment and to minimize waste.
  • We kindly ask guests to keep the television and any music systems at a volume that respects the peace and harmony of the environment, especially during rest times.


Main services

Breakfast - Breakfast is served in our restaurant from Monday to Sunday from 9.00  to 11:00. For different times, please arrange everything with the staff. We will do our best to satisfy you. However, you can ask the staff for some hot dishes or dishes not found in the buffet.

Restaurant - Our restaurant is open to the public and serves traditional Tuscan dishes from the menu; as well as dishes of international gastronomy. There is no "half board" rate (except in cases with a specific and agreed menu). The menu with relative prices can be consulted on our website or at the restaurant. The restaurant / kitchen is open - by reservation - at the following times: 12: 30-14: 30 & 19: 00-22: 00. At the restaurant there is a card of allergens traceable in our courses.

Laundry - We offer a paid washing machine service (token), to be requested and with the authorization of the staff.

Tidying up rooms - The rearrangement of the room will be done on request, leaving the keys to the staff. The replacement of towels and sheets will be made every 2 days (excluding departure and the day before), or upon express request will be changed towels and extra toilet paper provided. The bathrooms are equipped with free toiletries and towels.

Internet - The internet is free. 

Keys - For your safety, the entrance keys to the structure cannot be replicated, in case of loss the cost of replacing the lock will be charged at Euro 50.00 (fifty Euro). The management is not responsible for theft or loss of objects left unattended inside the structure.

Parking - The parking is not guarded, there are no particular risks, however we advise you to lock the cars.

Pool – Our pool is open from 10.00 a.m till 6.00 p.m.  and pool towels are available for guests. We recommend to  read the regulations carefully and fill the form  that will be delivered to you at the restaurant

Pets - Pets, such as dogs, are allowed in the rooms upon notice at the time of booking. A one-time € 15 extra will be charged at check-out. It is forbidden to leave the animal alone in the room and let it climb onto beds or furnishings. Carpets and rugs will be removed from the room. There are carpets of various sizes and snacks for your four-legged friends. In the case of dogs of a certain size, a security deposit of € 100 will be requested. - to cover any damage to the room, failing which, this amount will be returned at check-out.

Day use - It will be possible (upon reservation) to carry out the DAY USE service, according to rates and availability. Expressly ask for confirmation of the reservation by telephone or email. The time of use of the room (in this mode) is a maximum of 4 hours; strictly ending at 20:00.
